Products

Here at Copyfast Printing we have a team of designers that are ready to help you with design and typesetting if necessary.

We also accept print ready files as well.

Text weight stock is standard flyer paper that is a thick, high quality choice compared to what you can print at your at-home printer. It is easy to fold and bendable while maintaining a professional feel. Optimal for flyers and booklets.

Cardstock, also called coverstock, is a more rigid and durable option. It must be scored first before being folded to prevent cracking. Optimal for business cards, postcards, and extra-thick flyers.

Text weight is inherently lighter than cardstock weight. For instance, 80lb cardstock will be thicker than 80lb text weight stock.

Coated papers are available in two finishes—glossy and satin—which are both shiny and smooth. Coated glossy papers reflect the light evenly so they are suitable for almost all types of printing jobs. Glossy papers have a good ink holdout, which is important for creating sharp, bright images.

Uncoated paper has a natural, matte texture that is flat, lusterless, and eliminates glare. This is an ideal choice for printing simple lines and text with less ink coverage needed. Excellent for use with business stationery that is intended to be written on.

Printing

Bleed is a printing term that means your image extends past the actual size of what you're printing.

  • Bleed must extend past the cut-line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase.
  • The total bleed should be 0.125” (1/8"). Keep all text an additional 0.0625" inside the cut-line.
  • Adding bleed preserves the finished look and the quality of the final product.

We do not print from PANTONE® colors or Spot colors; you are responsible for providing us the correct CMYK color codes.

We only print on the paper stocks we offer for each particular product (found on our website).

Vector files are made up of a series of mathematical curves, points and paths used to create an image that can be made infinitely large without losing quality. They most commonly are saved using .AI, .EPS, .PDF, or .SVG files. This allows for the best quality when printing, as all of the curves are able to be maintained. It also helps prevent pixelation on smaller areas, such as if you were to foil a logo.

While we highly recommend vector files, we are also able to take raster files. A raster image has individual pixels of color that make up the whole image. If the image is sized to 600x800, it would be made up of 600 pixels (or small dots) across and 800 pixels from top to bottom. Trying to make this photo larger will only stretch those pixels, not add more, thereby losing the crispness of the original image. If you happen to be using a raster file, make sure that the image resolution is at least 300 ppi.

We strive to achieve the closest possible color match for your artwork. Yet, exact replication isn't always guaranteed due to factors like texture, finish, and material type used in the project, which may impact the colors on the final printed product.

Images may appear blurry in print due to low resolution, resulting in pixelation. To address this issue, use an image with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

We print everything digitally, so CMYK is the color format we accept. Please note that if you send files with RGB color format, there is a significant color shift as any RGB colors are designed to be viewed digitally, not printed. As a result, RBG files will not look the same once printed in CMYK.

Almost all of our prints are done digitally on our high quality digital presses.

Pricing

Certain products can only be ordered in the quantities offered on the website, but other products can be ordered with custom quantities. Though we keep our prices as competitive as possible, all printed items have a minimum charge to account for production costs.

Miscellaneous

For all design services requested, we will always send proofs and must receive client approval before sending anything to production.

If you are submitting your own artwork that is correctly sized and formatted to the exact product specifications, then no proof will be necessary. We do our best to check artwork before printing, so if we find any issues, we will notify you for possible updates, and design services are always available for request.
