Every Door Direct Mail® (EDDM) is a powerful, cost-effective mailing service offered by the United States Postal Service that allows you to reach every household or business on a specific mail route—without needing a mailing list.

Your postcard are delivered to every address along the routes you select, giving you maximum local exposure at a lower postage cost than traditional stamped mail.

How the EDDM Process Works with Copyfast

Step 1: Print Your Postcards with Copyfast

We print your postcards to USPS EDDM specifications, ensuring the correct size, layout, and quality so your mailing is accepted without issues.

Once your postcards are printed, you’ll pick them up from Copyfast and complete the USPS portion of the mailing yourself.

Step 2: Choose Your Routes on the USPS EDDM Website

1. Visit the official USPS EDDM route selection tool:
   https://eddm.usps.com/eddm/select-routes.htm
2. Enter: A ZIP code, City & state Or a specific address to begin your search
3. View available carrier routes on the map. Each route shows: Number of residential addresses, Number of business addresses, Total delivery count per route
4. Select the routes you want to mail to based on your target area.

Step 3: Pay USPS Postage Online

1. After selecting your routes, proceed through the USPS EDDM checkout.
2. Pay postage directly on the USPS website.
3. Print: Your EDDM facing slips & Your USPS payment receipt

Step 4: Prepare Your Postcards for Drop-Off

• Bundle postcards by route (USPS requires bundles in sets, usually of 50 or 100)
• Attach the correct facing slip to each bundle
• Keep your USPS receipt with you

Step 5: Drop Off at the Post Office

Take your bundled postcards, facing slips, and receipt to the local post office that services the routes you selected(this will be listed in the USPS EDDM tool).

Once accepted, USPS handles delivery—your postcards will be delivered directly to mailboxes along those routes.
